Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Overseer alpha. By signing in or adding an account, you agree to them.

Alpha version, by invitation. Before the public launch these texts will be reviewed, and we will tell you what changes.

  1. 1.What Overseer is

    An independent service that plays ranked Wild Splinterlands matches for the accounts you add, using only their posting key, and claims the rewards from those matches. Overseer is not affiliated with Splinterlands.

  2. 2.Alpha

    Access is by invitation and free. The service is evolving: features may change, go offline or be discontinued. It is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.

  3. 3.Your accounts and your posting key

    • Only add accounts that are yours or that you are authorized to use.
    • Overseer accepts only the posting key. The active key, the owner key and the master password are rejected and must never be sent.
    • The key is encrypted in an isolated vault that only signs Wild matches and reward claims.
    • You can turn off the bot or remove the account at any time. To cut off all access, change your posting key on Hive.
    • Keep your Overseer password safe: anything done with your login is your responsibility.

  4. 4.Game rules

    You are responsible for following the Splinterlands Terms of Service. Overseer only plays the ranked Wild format, where automation is allowed. Splinterlands may change its rules, rewards or terms at any time, and that may affect the service or your account.

  5. 5.No guaranteed results

    The figures on this site, such as the advantage measured in simulation, are not a promise. Wins, rating, league and rewards depend on your collection, the game and luck. Failures in the game, on Hive or on our side can cause lost matches, including by walkover.

  6. 6.Liability

    To the extent permitted by law, Overseer is not liable for losses of rating, rewards, cards, tokens or funds related to the use of the service, nor for actions Splinterlands takes on your account.

  7. 7.Pricing

    Nothing is charged during the alpha. After launch, the fee will be a share of the SPS rewards from matches, through the game's own reward delegation, and it only applies to those who turn that delegation on. We will let you know in advance.

  8. 8.Termination

    You can stop using the service whenever you want. We may suspend access in case of abuse, fraud or use that breaks these terms or the game rules.

  9. 9.Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced before they take effect.
